Five things we make, in steel and silver.

One sale in 1996. The same family behind the counter.
It started with Martin's first sale at the LOEB Egge in Bern. Thirty years later the counter stands a few steps from where it began — still family-run, and every piece still handled, checked and sized by someone in the shop.
Silver, steel, and the stones we set in them.

925 Sterling Silver
Mostly uncoated · Some rhodium-plated or oxidised
Most of our silver is plain 925 with nothing on top. It tarnishes in time, and a polish brings it straight back. Some pieces are rhodium-plated to slow that down, and some are oxidised dark on purpose.

316L Stainless Steel
Surgical grade · Also 18k gold and black plated
Will not tarnish, will not irritate skin, and survives daily wear without ceremony. Also finished in 18k gold plating and in black.

Gemstones & Zirconia
Machine-set · Held securely
Larimar, turquoise, labradorite, topaz, amethyst and more. Stones are machine-set rather than hand-set — a CNC-cut seat grips more securely than a hand-bent claw. Apart from rings, we make our gemstone pieces ourselves.
Casual Decor
We also look after what you already own.
Bring in a piece at the LOEB counter — whether you bought it from us or not. We take it in, tell you honestly whether it is worth doing, and hand the specialist work to workshops we have used for years.
